Noroi had slept deeply, dreaming about something that he would forget, but during his sleep, he heard the beautiful, pure voice that he once heard, singing away. His pet was singing a song while he slept... Not that Noroi minded of course, but since the merman's beautiful voice had spoken cruel words, the Siren didn't want to listen to it now. He stirred in his sleep, hoping that Aquarius would stop when he heard another voice singing. Immediately, Noroi woke up and at the right moment, he opened up the latch and pulled out his little mermaid servant.

"... What are you doing, talking to my pet like that?" Noroi asked, eerily calm as he yawned loudly.

Squealing as she was taken out of the cage, her arms at her sides and ribcage pressed against her chest, the mermaid seemed to cringe in pain as his immensely strong grip held her against her will. Gulping nervously, wondering what she should say, she seemed to desperately eye Aquarius for support, hoping he'd back her up only to get no true response, just the hunches position and head hung low as if denying her existance, Elvira, the name of the young servant finally mustered up the courage to speak...sort of. "I-I- Ah your highness! I-I didn't know you were awake!" She managed to sputter out uselessly, still eyeing the caged merman once in awhile who still said nothing. "A-Ah I was- that is-"

" You're not helping yourself either woman...and for the record, I'm not your pet..no matter what you claim." Aquarius muttered lowly, hands balled into tight fists again, trembling in the slightest though..it's clear he's not putting up a fight for now. If anything, he might be showing possible signs of submission instead of resistance in hopes of just starting this off as a way for getting off the hook. Elvira just turned her gaze back to the monarch, utterly speechless and ready for..whatever the future punishment will be laid upon her within seconds, whether as breakfast or dead in a grasp.

While Noroi might be taking his sweet time to decide what to do, Aquarius just honestly hopes he won't attempt to kill her right here and take notice of the key, then swallow it like some airheaded numbskull which of course, he thought the giant out to be..and not just in abusing his power as far as from whatthe bluenette saw and recently heard. In all honesty, even if it was only for a minute maximum, the merman did want to say something in hopes of making sure Noroi lets her go but he knows if he is to get close to any of the servants, if he begs/pleads for the larger-than-life king to let her go, let her live and do whatever he wants to him, that's probably only going to give satisfaction to the other and maybe just end up doing the opposite and take advantage of his "pet", hence the silence.

Noroi scanned at Elvira, seeing the key, and then looked back at Aquarius in thought. Usually, Noroi would have eaten or killed anyone who disobeyed him greatly... but this was different. Whether he truly cared or not, he didn't want the merman to talk back and say something like 'That's all you ever do...' as if his only purpose was to eat and destroy.

"I knew what you were trying to do, so don't even explain." The king frowned. "You were trying to break him out and tell him everything. For that..." He brung out two fingers and took hold of the mermaids left arm, putting pressure into it until he could feel a bone crack. He then let go. "Do not do it again or I will do much worse. Give the key back to Pipes... now!" He then let Elvira go. This was not like him. He just left a servant live.

Of course for Elvira, that resulted in a broken arm but she chose not to cry out in pain even if it seared all across her arm when Noroi held it and applied enough pressure for it to happen. She nodded weakly when given the barked orders, explaining she'll uncuff the "prisoner", but only so he can be proven a little more useful. "I-If he try to escape..I promise to alert the guards." She assured him, slowly swimming over to the open cage door, taking the key around her neck off with her good hand/arm and inserting it in the locks, not even smiling as she did this, especially from how damaged his wrists looked due to how much the rusting metal cut into the skin. Mouthing a small "I'm sorry" to Aquarius, she swam back out as slowly as she could, mainly due to the pain offered just now as dire punishment.
As for the blue haired male, he slowly, if not very carefully took off his pearl bracelets and flower, eyeing his wrists.

Heavying amounts of dirtied cuts encircled them, a few looking recently opened and bleeding while a few looked too filthy to even tell. Blinking a few times, refusing to speak any further for now, Aquarius slowly covered his eyes and allowed a tear or two to fall after a moment of rethinking his past. Mermaid tears were meant to hold magical healing properties..but it's not something used very often when one is injured. As they fall down his cheeks, the only way he knew for a fact that it worked...was feeling a little sharp pain at first around the said area and when he opened his eyes, he can see some of the scars slowly become thin white lines, despite the dirt still there. He took the liberty of cleaning that off, despite his currently plain appearance and still managing to radiate so very naturally.
" ....First task?"

The black pearl accessories now laid limp on the floor beside his body, and even his flower looked almost ready to wilt at any moment now that there is no host to have so it may flaunt its bright colors as Aquarius waited patiently for him to command something from him, refusing to make the tyrant assume his spirit can be so easily broken, taken advantage of, then devoured into his repulsive, sour-breathed gaping maw. The merman even refused as to so much make eye contact with him, just holding his head up even if his health is still ill from his ribs and everything else.
He's not so sure if Soul Sirens can read minds..but if they can...it's best not to look inside this particular captive's, his thoughts even making sea witches curdle a little.

" ....Don't leave a woman waiting Noroi. I do not have time for this..nor do you, especially if you are to spend your hours using me against your will." He may talk big and have a short, thin temper, but the ones below the king may have an idea on how serious he is when it comes to getting the job done or punishing those most deserving..in his book. Even if it has to take the gigantic Soul Siren an action or raised voice to make everyone cower, only one would swim up to his face from within the crowd and snarl, even bite a piece of his cheek in hopes of ripping it off then consuming it as though it were freshly prepared sushi...oh the irony.

"Would you fucking be silent already?! I don't need to wake up to your smart-ass comments now... and I didn't want you singing at all. Last time I checked, you're not a woman and if you are one, you're close to dirty kelp!" Noroi snarled back in annoyance with his sharp fangs out. "Now, we're going to have breakfast and you're going to eat it and like it! Until we reach to the dining hall, I want you to polish my crown with your hands." He ordered before picking the merman up with a tight grip and placing him on his head.

" Oh I'm sorry, was that supposed to hurt? Because last I checked..I have heard more heartbreaking insults ones from a grain of sand." He taunted with a straight face, managing to keep his laughter canned inside though now a true reason to shut up was offered as his petit body was enwrapped, if not nearly squeezed tightly as he was taken out of the cage then placed on his head, coughing and wheezing a little from how much it hurts. If his ribs were broken still and just got worse, then..that was all Noroi's fault if he breaks him entirely..but then again, would he want that? " I'm not even hungry as it is. Lost my appetite since I smelled your breath..might loose it even further." He muttered in slight annoyance while taking his time on polishing the gold best as he could with his hands as they made it to the dining hall.

By then, Aquarius could care less if all the crown was polished or if it was only a spot but managed not to grimace so much in pain from his wounds. He knows he can admit defeat..he knows if he chose to he can swim out of here..but what will be learnt other than showing his cowardly nature if this is done from decision? Sighing as moments later he settled down on his own chair, glad to see servants like Elvira or Pipes are here to take the liberty of adding some shock collar. Aquarius looked down to see a server expose today's breakfast for him, being some lobster tail while for Noroi it was another story.

Noroi's breakfast consisted of a giant squid with ink and a side of merfolk. Upon seeing the merfolk with his order, he scowled and looked away.

"Sire, why aren't you eating?" Pipes questioned.

"Did I say I wanted merfolk with my breakfast?"

"No, but you need souls-"

"I don't want to have merfolk now! Let them go!" The king ordered, growling lowly. Immediately, the merfolk were taken off of the plate and Noroi tried to eat his squid in peace, avoiding eye contact with his new pet.

Sapphire eyes widened at the sight of the bundled merfolk, looking ready to leap out of his chair and do something about it..only to blink once from what Noroi had to say then crinkling his eyebrows in silence. Slowly averting his gaze to the freshly prepared tail before him, Aquarius decided maybe it'll be best to eat a little something for needed energy if he's to be used to run some errands or something so he slowly picked up the golden fork that laid beside the right side of his plate and started to pick up some of the meat inside since it was already cut open and steamed for him. Just like the king, he felt rather awkward talking to him but not so much as pissed maybe because of how he took notice of sparing some merfolk..for now.

After breakfast was over, the lapis luzili haired merman decided to...be polite and hope..for a slightly less pissy reaction. Clearing his throat and bowing his head since everything else hurt still, Aquarius thanked Noroi for the meal in a non-sarcastic way and instead in a genuinely polite manner but that itself meant nothing..just simple courtesy. His gorgeous deep blue eyes then looked up at him while silently waiting for his second task since..well the first one was to polish his crown and forcibly eat but..he was more annoyed about being asked to eat in that sort of manner so..yea.

Noroi had a heart as cold as ice in his opinion and even if he was an abusive tyrant who acted too much like a damn brat rather than how a monarch should rule and act instead, only able to see physical beauty that the other held..one has to be beautiful inside and outside if to be admired, which might explain why right now he felt kind of disgusted with himself, his stomach churning ever so slightly in equal animosity...and it wasn't from the lobster that's for sure. But for what felt to be the millionth time in less than five hours, Aquarius bit his tongue so not to voice this sort of crude opinion aloud.

The king's eyes widened a little at the sudden polite gesture coming from his pet. Maybe he was finally learning his place or something. Whatever the reason would be, Noroi went with it as he nonchantly, but calmly answered. "You're welcome. Now your next task is to help me excercise before my hunt this afternoon. I'll heal your wounds and become your size to make it easier." His taik marks glowed as he shrunk down and poked at the merman's chest, healing his wounds.

Little did the other know that inside his heart still held the untamed soul of a fiery spirit that will never be tamed, even if it was consumed by his gaping, gluttonous maw right this very moment. Even if he indeed smelt it or licked his lips right now, salivating from the thought of obtaining the soul alone, the irony might be on how bitter or too much it'll be for him to consume. Just because Aquarius was thanking him for the meal..does not mean anything special, just more of an act of showing good manners and nothing more. As the king shrunk down and healed his body entirely but only for his next chore which..clearly required perfect condition in the first place, the bluenette rose a slight brow and almost immediately wanted to slap his hand away or even bite his finger off but...refrained from doing so. Instead, he waited until the poking stopped before finally parting his lips to inquire: "And how do I do that..?"
Ah so yes, a new mermaid has provided quite the useful information! Clearly that will be used for Aquarius's advantage..hopefully this might help him think even further on how to escape before it's too late.
